Scandinavian Sampler 1 folk embroidery PDF pattern

The Scandinavian Sampler 1 folk embroidery PDF pattern features both cross stitch and embroidery designs and was created in partnership with Folkwear Sewing Patterns for their Norwegian folk costume pattern. Known as “bunad,” Norwegian folk costume features both cross stitch decorations (typically the chest, sleeves, and shirt neck placket) and embroidery designs known as "rosemaling" (typically back yoke, hems and accessories). This pattern includes both one large cross stitch charts along with five hand embroidery motifs. The rosemaling embroidery motifs can be printed to stick-and-stitch paper for garments, and the cross stitch designs can be used for folk costume, or for wall hangings, cushion covers, and table runners.
