Tapestry Rods

With my new Tapestry Rods, you can turn almost any textile into a work of art!

In Greece, it's a delightful sight to enter someone's home and see a cheery wall hanging near the front door. Sometimes they have sayings like "Kalimera" (Good-day!), some have quotes, and other are textile designs. I love this traditional custom and I've finished quite a few of my embroideries as wall hangings. All you need is a tapestry rod, some lining fabric, and a little bit of sewing (hand or machine). It's a very beginner-friendly finishing technique that yields a wonderful effect.

While most of the photos below show embroidery or cross stitch, you can also turn slow stitching, quilting, crochet, knitting, or any kind of textile art into a wall hanging. It's a lovely way to show off your creativity!
