What's in an Avlea kit?

Each Avlea kit is made by hand in my studio in Central Oregon with specialty folk embroidery fabrics for an authentic folk embroidery stitching experience. I cut the fabric and serge the raw edges to prevent pesky loose threads while you're stitching. I then hand-wind DMC cotton embroidery floss and add full-color charts and instructions along with a John James needle. My kits give you the opportunity to experience folk embroidery with the kind of fabrics that have been used for centuries!
